The Sharks will be out to consolidate their place amongst the top four on the NRL ladder when they tackle the powerful Brisbane Broncos side on Friday night.

After kicking four goals from as many attempts in the Sharks victory over the Newcastle Knights on Saturday night, winger Luke Covell has gone to the top of the NRL point scorers list.

Two second half penalty goals have seen the Sharks erase a one-point half time deficit to sneak home to beat the Newcastle Knights by 16-13.

The Sharks Toyota Cup side have been comprehensively beaten by 56-4 by the Newcastle Knights in a round 19 match at Toyota Stadium
